The marcos Story
It all began in a small kitchen in Imperial Beach, California, where founder Marco Reyes had a simple dream: to bring the rich flavors of authentic marco's pizza to every family in United States. Armed with his grandmother's cherished dough recipe and a passion for quality, Marco opened the very first Marcos location in 2004.
What started as a neighborhood spot quickly grew into a beloved institution. Word spread fast — people drove from across the region for our hand-tossed crusts, house-made sauces, and generously loaded toppings. By 2010, Marcos had become a household name synonymous with genuine, soul-satisfying pizza.
Today, Marcos continues that same tradition. Every pizza that leaves our kitchen is made with the same dedication, the same fresh ingredients, and the same love for the craft that Marco put into that very first pie over two decades ago.

The First Slice
Marco Reyes opens the original Marcos location at 1205 Palm Ave, Imperial Beach. The menu features just six pizzas, each made from his grandmother's traditional recipes.
A Growing Family
Word of mouth drives demand through the roof. Marcos expands its kitchen, doubles the team, and introduces its now-famous garlic breadsticks and specialty calzones.
Award-Winning Pizza
Marcos wins the San Diego County "Best Local Pizza" award — recognising the exceptional quality and community impact of our authentic marco pizza experience.
Online & Delivery Launch
Marcos launches its online ordering platform and delivery service, bringing fresh-baked marcos pizza directly to doorsteps across greater San Diego.
Catering Goes Big
